One of the remaining Ming Wall Towers (the Beijing Ming wall had survived until modern times but was unfortunately ordered to be demolished by Mao who wanted the city to be easily evacuated in case of a Soviet attack)
A park (日坦公園) near the infamous counterfeit capital Silk Market. I walked around the area, including the park, while others shopped and bargained at the Silk Market.
People were fishing stock fish in the pond.
Lots of lanterns abound for the upcoming moon festival festivities (中秋節).
More lanterns.
View of wall tower as we drove by.
A well lit, very festive park near where we had dinner.
